Description
The package (box made of recycled cardboard) contains one pipe, we use hay to fill the space. If you have a pollen allergy, please let us know when ordering and we will use paper instead of the hay.
The pipe head is made of clay, the mouthpiece is made of reed, the filter is made of unalloyed steel.
Can be picked up in person or sent by post: we charge €20 for postage within the EU, $35 outside the EU.

I bought a pipe from Mate in the summer, back when this webshop didn’t even exist yet. I purchased it in person in Hungary during a face-to-face meeting, because we happened to run into each other at a steel sculpture exhibition. We had a great conversation there about his sculptures.
I’ll admit, I was somewhat skeptical at first. I felt like humanity has already invented everything, and that I could order similar things from Temu or Shein, or pretty much anywhere, if I wanted to. So I didn’t really believe in this whole “hand-made, locally sourced materials” idea.
But I have to say, I was very, very pleasantly surprised. I use the pipe regularly, and it truly delivers exactly what we talked about back then. The spliff is very smooth. There are no off-flavors, no hot air, none of that tar-like taste that I’ve experienced with so many other pipes (and I say this as a hardcore user). So there really is something to this concept. It simply works.
